Public Sociology Senior Seminar Class

Me and two of my classmates, Bethany Barbee and Andie Stomski, researched, created  food maps using Google Maps, and created Google Spreadsheets to highlight the details of each resource we added. Both the maps and spreadsheets were then shared with the appropriate county representatives who could distribute it throughout the community and continue to edit these resources as this pandemic progressed and resource availability changed.

Climate Change Research Paper: Research Methods in Professional Writing

I wrote this research paper, People's Personal Experiences, Geographical Location, and Their Views on Climate Change, in order to evaluate this complex relationship. This particular research paper allowed for my interests in sociological research, professional writing, and environmentalism to merge. Sigma Tau Delta 2020 International Convention

This is an environmental activist piece that was accepted for this national convention emphasizing the importance of preserving mother nature. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this convention was cancelled, but I still feel that it should be publicly accessible. The writing ties in personal experiences with knowledge from the book, Red: Passion and Patience in The Desert, by Terry Williams. To access my submission, please click on the button below.
